Hello my name's Matthew and really this is just a blog.
((rp blog for Hipster!Canada, read the Headcanons for more))
“Heh. Sure can understand that, not bein’ to fond of this sorta weather.” Al squinted back down at the table, looking away from the window. He shrugged, and grinned, silently deciding that it was high time to stick his nose where it didn’t belong. “You an your boyfriend - been goin’ out long?”
Cana blushed, he was awkward when asked about his relationship but he honestly didn’t mind. “Yeah” he nodded with a shy smile, “Almost a year now if I think of it.” The Canadian fiddled with his thumbs, trying not to look the other in the eye while he had his blush.
Noticing the blush, Al’s smirk widened. “That’s nice.” He leaned back in his chair, head tilting ever so slightly. “He from round here, or is he, uh, back at home?”
“Oh back at home, well at least in Canada.” He snickered a little, continuing to have a conversation with the other not paying attention to the hours passing.
Al followed Cana’s gaze to the window, watching as the trees lining the pavement outside started to bend back in the breeze. A few splatters of rain fell onto the window. Great, just what they needed. He sighed and turned away. “Hope you’re not in a hurry to get anywhere, looks like some bad weathers headin’ our way.”
“Nah I got an hour or two.” Cana continued to watch the weather until he decided to speak again. “My boyfriend hates weather like this, he acts like such a cat when he walks through it,” he snickered to himself. “Although he always insists on giving me the umbrella, but to be honest I think he just likes having a sick day to look forward too.”

“It’s gon’ be the next best seller, I’m sure,” Al chuckled, spinning the empty coke bottle mindlessly in his hand. He saw Cana check his phone but, of course, didn’t question it.
Cana nodded as he took another sip of his tea. The tea was starting to get cold now so he tried to finish it off with a few more sips, staring out the window while doing so. He snickered to himself as he placed his cup down, the growing ferocity of the wind made him grateful they came in.

Al sighed contentedly, and leaned back in his chair. Naturally he wasn’t as discreet as Cana and didn’t bother to refrain from laughter, may it be obnoxious or not. “Beautiful.” He wiped an imaginary tear from the corner of this eye.
Cana gave a sassy look, “okay so we now know the plot for the next Nicolas Sparks novel.” Quickly checking his phone out of habit, he noted that he had about an hour until his leave.
“It’s gon’ be the next best seller, I’m sure,” Al chuckled, spinning the empty coke bottle mindlessly in his hand. He saw Cana check his phone but, of course, didn’t question it.

Cana gave a grimace, “Oh well I hope I’m not one of them.”
“Well, are you dating a horribly rude and abusive man?”
“Not that I know of.”
“Then you’re fine.”
“I’ll warn you first if it I do start to date a rude and abusive man okay.”
“Good. It’s my job to watch over you.”
“You’re doing a mighty fine job so far.”
“That’s always good,” He nodded, “Mine has been pretty decent as well.”
“Good,” he said quickly. “I’ve had bad experience with Canadians lately.”
